럿거스 대학 재학중인 유학생 및 교포와 그 가족에게 가장 가까운 한인 천주교 공동체를 소개하고자 합니다.

현재 저희 공동체는 노년, 중년, 그리고 장년 가족 및 그 아이들로 구성되어 있으며, 대부분 이미 정착을 마무리하고 직장 혹은 사업을 영위하는 분들이 많습니다만, 럿거스 대학이라는 대규모 주립대가 곁에 있음에도 불구하고 청년층의 참여가 빈약한 실정입니다.

저희 교우분 중 상당수가 여러분과 같이 유학생활을 마치고 현지에 적응한 분들이므로, 힘겨운 정착 및 유학생활을 하시는 젊은 교우분께 영적 물적으로 많은 교류 및 도움이 가능할 것으로 저희는 생각하고 있습니다.

청년부의 신설 및 운영을 하실 수 있는 유학생 혹은 교포 학생들을 특히 환영합니다. 저희가 최선을 다하여 도움을 드릴것을 약속합니다.

This is Joon-Hui Yoon, from Edison Korean Catholic Community.

Our community, in total of 300, needs youth and young Catholics who are interested in meeting other Korean Catholics in Central Jersey area. Most of us have been settled for 10 years or more so we expect that you may have some valuable supports such as carrier advice, meeting friends, and so on. if you like to have a sense of belonging in Korean community, ours will be the one of the best you can find.

We especially welcome anyone who has some experience in leading youth and kids to Catholic faith, and organizing youth/young Catholic group. We will support you buildling your own group and successfully settle down in the community.
