Hi all,

The next GSA summer trip will be on August 2nd, to the Delaware water gap.

We will leave campus around 9am in hired vans, and arrive at Dunnfield at the southern end of the water gap, and make a spot at the recreation area there.
>From there, those who wish to hike will walk to Sunfish Pond (3 -4 hours return depending on how fast you go, how much wildlife you stop and photograph, and how long you stay at the pond...). There is also a shorter but much steeper hike starting from the same point.

We will provide inflatable tubes for those that wish to float on the river, and some recreations equipment (balls, frisbee, etc).  Please note that no swimming is allowed in this portion of the river, and since we have to worry about liability, you'll have to sign a waiver for the trip, and agree not to swim without flotation devices, etc. etc.

You'll have to bring your own packed lunch, but drinks and snacks will be provided.

We plan to be back in New Brunswick by about 7pm.

Cost:
$10 per graduate student
$15 non-grad student (only after 28 July, if places are available).

Tickets:
Tickets will be on sale in the Grad Student Association offices (in the Graduate student lounge on College Ave, behind Au Bon Pain) at the following times:

Tuesday 22 July 12-2pm
Wednesday 23 July 9-10am
Thursday 24 July 4-6pm

There are only a limited number of tickets available for this trip, so we will only sell to graduate students this week. Only two tickets will be sold to each person, and you'll have to bring an ID for both yourself and the other grad student. If there are spaces left, we'll open up ticket sales to everyone next week.

Cheers,
Naomi
