Dear Rutgers Korean Graduate
Students Association Members:
The Korea Society invites you to a special luncheon discussion to kickstart our
Corporate Programs Summer Calendar, which will be held on Thursday, May 9th at
12:30 pm, "Korean Entrepreneurship, Global Reach" with Bernard Moon,
Co-founder & CEO of Vidquik, and David Joo, Chief Operating Officer of
KnowRe, (950 Third Avenue, 8th Fl, NYC).
Bernard Moon, CEO of Vidquik, co-founded Sparklabs, a Silicon Valley style
startup accelerator that provides Korean entrepreneurs access to funds, legal
counsel, and high-profile mentors like Internet legend Vint Cerf and Dallas
Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. He and David Joo, co-CEO of Sparklabs-funded
KnowRe, discuss what it takes to grow a young tech company in a global market.
The event will include a complementary bibimbap lunch from kosofresh, a new
take on a Korean classic that "represents a healthy, innovative and fun
way of life along with a scrumptuous bowl of bibimbap." Please register by
writing to 'policy@koreasociety.org' with your name, and Rutgers Korean
Graduate Students Association as your affiliation for a discounted student
admission of $10 for the luncheon. Please also let us know if you require a
vegetarian option. We ask that you arrive to be seated by 12:30 p.m.
